Every student worked hard drawing and contributing to the writing of our new book. These students spent a morning at Bass Pro Shops studying and sketching the Rainbow Trout in the store’s aquarium. I am so happy that I have been able to see this group of remarkable students grow as artists and writers throughout the year. It has been my pleasure to observe and help facilitate their learning throughout this school years “Picturing Writing” lessons.
Today we learned about solids turing into liquids and what better way to explain it then making chalk. Of course when it was dry we had to go test it out!
We have been working really hard to make our own butterflies to decorate the hallway and teach other students walking by a little about the life cycle of a butterfly. I think they turned out really well.
